Bownham Park decision goes to Adjudication

On Wednesday 7th February, the Schools Organisation Committee discussed the LEA's proposal to close Bownham Park Special School. The Schools Group rejected the proposal, the Church of England Group abstained and the Further Education Group did not attend. As the support of all groups is required, and 2 groups voted in favour and 1 against, no decision could be taken and the matter will now be put in the hands of a Government appointed adjudicator. The fight to save this valued school goes on.
